In 1998 the bachelor of Computer Application course was
started at the first floor of "Shatabdi bhawan". Later, in the year 2004 the Master of Computer
Applications course was introduced. The Department of Computer Application now runs in the ground floor of
"Shatabdi Bhawan". The department houses two computer labs with latest "intel" based computer
systems and Broadband Internet connection. The department is also associated with active research in the field of
computer science.
CA Course is Approved by All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE), HRD Ministry, Govt. of
India, New Delhi vide its letter no.PG/MCA/BIH/2004/01 dated 25/06/2004. Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, gramted
approval to MCA Course vide letter no. VC/RES/216/04 dated 7/7/04.
